Princes Trust Stafford Team 14 Completed their Community Project at the Ministry of Defence Stafford Base. The seventeen young people worked in terrible conditions to develop the memorial garden within the base. Soldiers and their families can use this as a place of quiet reflection and remembrance.
This is the first time that civilians have been allowed onto the base to work due to the strict security requirements. Following the successful completion of the project Andrew Megram Community Support Development officer came to Stafford Fire Station to present all of the students with a limited edition signed print of the 22 Signals Regiment.
Andrew said that due to the hard work and commitment of the Prince’s Trust Team barriers have been reduced with the local community and the station commander would like the Ministry of Defence Base to work more closely with future Prince’s Trust Teams.
Well Done Stafford Team 14 and Team Leader Sian Osborn for the hard work and commitment that you showed on this Community Project.
